It seems like every year goes faster and faster with the kids getting older and I can't image how that will keep changing as they develop their own personalities and likes/dislikes. As a self-employed mom I do find it hard to find the balance between being away at the studio and being home with them but I'm so glad I have the flexibility to stay home when they are sick, pick them up from school and do the everyday things with them.
This year has been another learning experience for The InkPAD Shop, always questioning if my choices are the "right" ones and whether or not I'm fulfilling my own and others expectations. I still find calculating the amount of inventory to bring to a market difficult and something I am always learning. In the end I made a large amount earlier on in the season and this meant there was less pressure on me for subsequent markets which has been a blessing in disguise.
,Through the 3 years I've been doing this I've learned saying thank you and appreciating every single purchase is just as relevant as it was on day 1 and I am SO thankful for the loyal customers I see putting in orders. I may not recognize or remember your face at every market but I'd probably recognize your name or address first!! Thank you for the encouraging words, tags and likes!! I wish you a blessed Holiday Season and pray it's filled with hope and LOVE. I will be at the Forks this weekend if you would like to grab an item as this will be my last market of the Holiday Season! I plan on spending the time after with my fam-jam, snuggling my new nephew and giving thanks.
Love + Light,
